Out of Ink
I got the email this morning. My run for the screenplay championship came up short. I needed to finish in the top 5 and I came in 6th. I had a good run and a lot of fun writing. I’m definitely proud and happy with each of the short shorts that I wrote and I think the experience has been good for my writing. That said, I’d be lying if I’m not disappointed with the finish. Those are the breaks. Nothing to do but keep on trucking.
I do have some other things on my plate to tend to. I’m behind in my self-imposed writing schedule. I really need to hop to and get back on track this weekend. Tonight I’m meeting a friend of a friend to see if I can break into the voice-acting game and my sister has finished editing a short screenplay of mine she filmed and has already submitted it to some festivals. I haven’t seen the final cut yet.
