Saturday in the Park Without George

As it was only briskly cold, as opposed to mind-numbingly cold, I took my camera and took it for a walk through Fort Greene Park.

A few of the photos came out okay, if I do say so myself.

While I was out, if I happened to walk past and subsequently into the Fulton Mall Gamestop it had nothing to do with buying Street Fighter 4, which came out this week. If I bought Street Fighter 4, brought it home, and began playing it, it was merely due to random chance and was not the purpose of my leisurely stroll.

With that disclaimer out of the way, I’m free to say this: Street Fighter 4 is awesome. It’s beautiful and both modern and highly evocative of what I remember from “back in the day”. Trying to play this with the regular 360 controller, however, is a disaster. I need one of those fancy arcade sticks. Until I can find and afford one of those, I’ll just keep muddling on with what I’ve got.

The park looks great although it looks a bit cold. I can imagine myself sitting in one of the benches there, taking a break from a hard day’s work as long as it’s not mind-numbingly cold.
