Wise advice to be sure. Everybody wants feedback but nobody wants feedback.

A tweet asked us to rate a guy's site. It was awful and I pointed out he was putting the cart before the horse (it had loads of ads and little content). He unfolllowed and is still spending time making chums instead of creating content. What can I say? Probably that you should not let yourself be drawn into quibbles.

Fair enough. I haven't seen very much of that so far, though, but we'll see. I think Twitter's more mainstream than message boards and that partially deters the message board war mentality. But it's a new medium, so we'll see what happens.

I've gotten a few spam followers but that doesn't bug me much because I just ignore them and they go away. I'm more fearful of the twitter community devolving into a giant messageboard with the attendant attitude maladjustment along with everything else.

Yep...got my first "free travel" spammer on my twitter pg. Glad I'm not sending that junk 2 my phone.

Prayerfully we will take the good & leave the bad, but it inevitably comes along w/any new medium....& especially one as free-flowing as Twitter.

I agree. I'm already getting spam follows on twitter. It's incredibly annoying.
